Immunity and Repair

Advancing immunity and healing

Immunity and repair research aims to understand how the body detects and responds to infection or injury. From understanding disease mechanisms, totherapies in patients, and optimising drugs; together, these areas aim to improve how we prevent and treat infection, control harmful inflammation, and support tissue repair and recovery.

Immunity and repair research at Curtin MRI

At Curtin MRI, research spans the full continuum from fundamental discovery science through to clinical application and consumer outcomes, with focussed investigation on infection, immunology, inflammation, and the development of new therapeutic approaches to improve health and recovery.
